Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye puts a distinctly Colorado spin on classic American rye whiskey. Crafted from a high-rye mash bill and matured in new American oak, the whiskey gets its signature character from an unusual second maturation with hand-cut, hand-charred aspen wood sourced from Colorado.

The whiskey begins with a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley and spends more than two years in new 30-gallon American oak barrels with multiple char levels. After blending, charred aspen wood discs are introduced for an additional eight months, adding another layer of wood influence while complementing the rye's natural spice.

Tasting Notes
